Biomanufacturing Technician

Location: West Greenwich, RI Monday - Friday, 7:30AM - 4:30PM Pay Rate: $26-$28/hr Type: Contract (Potential to extend or convert) Job Duties - Support cell culture, harvest, and downstream purification process work using pilot-scale (300L) equipment - Operate bioprocess systems including bioreactors, chromatography systems, and filtration units - Assist with equipment setup and preparation, including Clean-In-Place (CIP) and Steam-In-Place (SIP) - Prepare media and buffer solutions following established procedures - Collect and document process samples for testing and analysis - Support execution of experiments and assist with basic data review and interpretation - Perform in-process testing using laboratory equipment and analyzers - Maintain accurate records in compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) - Follow established SOPs and work effectively in a team-based environment - Support basic equipment troubleshooting and minor maintenance activities - Maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment, including stocking supplies and routine cleaning - Participate in occasional evening or weekend work, as needed Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemical Engineering, or a related scientific field OR 3 years of relevant lab, manufacutring, or bioprocessing experience.
