Cryogenic Technician

Cryogenic Technician OSC St Paul, MN APPLY HERE The Cryogenic Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, refurbishing, inspection and maintenance on cryogenic equipment; this is to include cryogenic bulk and micro bulk storage tanks. They will ensure the proper function of the gas storage and distribution equipment while upholding a safe work environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Install equipment for bulk and micro bulk tank distribution systems - Perform maintenance repairs on all bulk and micro bulk tanks and ancillary equipment ensuring good working conditions - Troubleshoot, calibrate, service and repair a variety of equipment problems - Conduct site surveys for cryogenic systems - Prepare and complete all required documentation for installations and inspections to maintain compliance - Respond to service requests in a timely manner - Install low to medium pressure process piping inside customer facilities - Understanding of material capability - Provide support to customers regarding best equipment for their project needs - Maintain communication across all departments providing cryogenic support for all locations - Support the EOS/Traction process by attending and participating in L-10 meetings Other Responsibilities: - Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned by supervisor - Work closely with Plant Managers to ensure Plant fill equipment are fully operational Education, Experience and Skills: - High School diploma or equivalency, Technical College degree or equivalent is preferred - 2+ years of previous plumbing or other relevant technical experience - 2+ years of cryogenic system equipment experience is preferred - Working knowledge of positioning equipment, welding application, and equipment is an asset - Skilled in working with electricity and electrical components - Strong mechanical ability - Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing - Operate, use, and train others on all equipment and m
