Job Summary: The Plumbing Helper supports the plumbing team by assisting with basic tasks under the supervision of the Foreman. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe and clean job site, delivering materials and tools, and helping with general labor. This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals interested in learning the plumbing trade. While not enrolled in a formal apprenticeship program, the Plumbing Helper role can serve as a stepping stone toward future advancement. Key Responsibilities:- Assist with basic plumbing tasks and installations. - Transport and organize materials, tools, and equipment. - Maintain a clean and safe work environment. - Follow all safety protocols and company policies. - Learn from experienced plumbers on the job. Minimum Requirements:- High school diploma or GED. - 0–1 years of relevant experience. - Strong willingness to learn and contribute to a team. - Reliable transportation. Physical Demands:- Regularly lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally more with assistance. - Prolonged standing and walking on various surfaces. - Frequent ladder use and work at heights. - Regular bending, kneeling, and working in confined spaces. - Frequent use of hands for tools and basic tasks. - Good vision and hearing required; use of PPE, including safety glasses and hearing protection, is mandatory. - Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
