Sanitation Technician- 3rd Shift

Responsibilities - Cleans and sanitizes food processing equipment and food processing facilities. - Prevent cross contamination of product, work-in-progress, food contact surfaces and food contact packaging during sanitation procedures. - Follow all company Sanitation SOPs (SSOP) for cleaning equipment and facility. - Perform pre- inspection of clean equipment before requesting supervisor approval. - Complete all required sanitation and SQF documentation.   - Washes and maintains cleaning carts and tools. - Maintains all sanitation related equipment including but not limited to automatic floor scrubbers, vacuums, formers, cleaning equipment and tools. - Performs other duties as assigned by the sanitation supervisor. Quality Assurance - Follow established programs, policies, and practices to produce safe, quality foods that meet SQF, regulatory, company, and customer requirements. - Adheres to all company GMPs and Safety policies. Health & Safety - Follow company safety policies and practices fostering a safe workplace and environment for ourselves and our co-workers. - Work safely with the chemicals used in the cleaning process and ensure all chemicals are used at proper concentrations following chemical handling SSOP. - Wear appropriate person protective equipment (PPE) while perform cleaning tasks. Requirements Education and/or Experience: - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. - Sanitation experience preferred. - Experience leading a team - Must be able to follow instructions in English. - Must be able to read, write and speak English. - Self- Directed - Time Management control - Must have strong oral and written communication skills. - Follows all GMPs, Food Safety, SSOPs per assignments. - Must be able to use Step ladder/Ladder Physical Requirements: - Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with minimal supervision. - Ability to work with extended periods of standing, wa
