Sanitation Technician

This position is a member of a team whose duties are to clean and sanitize the food processing plant and equipment to meet food safety, and quality standards. This position is expected to disassemble and clean processing equipment without causing damage and reassembly of equipment while maintaining organization of multiple parts. This position required the operator to work well within a team to completely clean and sanitize the plant. This position will be working around processing equipment in which chemicals will be used to complete the sanitation process. Handle chemicals used in the process of cleaning and sanitation by following safety procedures. The sanitation worker must be able to work as a team along with other members of the crew and be flexible and willing to perform additional varying tasks per the supervisor's instructions and in accordance with all production and safety guidelines. Observe and follow GMPs, and Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs) Requirements - Previous sanitation experience, preferably in dairy, and foods - Familiarity in handling chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures - Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision - Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness - Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperatures. - Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team - MATHEMATICS ABILITY: Able to perform very simple algebra Benefits - 401(k) - Dental insurance - Employee assistance program - Flexible spending account - Health insurance - Life insurance - Paid time off - Parental leave - Referral program - Vision insurance
