Talis Consulting Group has been retained to recruit Sr. Software Development Engineers for one of the fastest-growing retailers in tabletop gaming. Founded in the late ’90s out of the owner’s garage, this company has grown into a global success story — now with 350+ employees and $120M in annual revenue. Beyond their record-breaking eCommerce business, they are also redefining the brick-and-mortar game store experience with a national expansion underway. About the RoleAs a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll design, develop, and maintain software solutions that power core internal platforms, including warehouse management, order fulfillment, and the broader eCommerce ecosystem. The systems you build and evolve directly influence order accuracy, fulfillment speed, scalability, and operational efficiency at meaningful scale.Location: Monroe, WA (2 days onsite, 3 days remote) Responsibilities• Design and implement software features with a strong emphasis on maintainability, performance, and operational reliability.• Break down complex projects into clear deliverables, providing thoughtful estimates and tradeoff analysis.• Collaborate closely with peers through design reviews, troubleshooting, and knowledge sharing across teams.• Apply coding best practices, testing standards, and clear documentation to support long-term system health.• Respond to production issues with sound judgment, ownership, and a focus on root-cause resolution.• Contribute to the ongoing evolution and scalability of the company’s warehouse, fulfillment, and eCommerce platforms.
