LOCATION: Houston, TX (Hybrid remote work 50/50 Split)
STATUS: Hourly Non-Exempt
JOB SUMMARY
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Monitor Gas Turbine and Auxiliary plant equipment as part of a 24-hour 7-day team based in one of our Monitoring and Diagnostic Center locations.
- Work with a variety of different heavy frame Gas Turbines and make recommendations on operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and follow a problem to the root cause.
- Leverage in-house GT experts (controls, performance, design, etc.) for assistance as required.
- Utilize AVEVA (OSIsoft) PI tools for monitoring, analysis and graphical representation of Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine and HRSG operations.
- Continue as a team to build a knowledge base of known issues and their indicators for reference for future troubleshooting.
- Clearly communicate corrective actions to customers via e-mails and/or phone calls.
- Required to be available to respond during working and non-working hours.
- Facilitate and actively work to ensure all documentation is correct, complete, timely, and recorded appropriately.
- Able to work a 24/7 rotational 5 shift 12-hour Dupont and overtime as necessary (Hybrid remote work scheduled as nights and weekends, at this time)
- Heavy focus on Gas Turbine operations specifically GE 7FA, GE7EA, SW501, and M501 units.
- Shift operators will also be responsible for monitoring of Centrifugal Compressors use in the LNG industry with GTs as the prime movers.
- Must complete EHS assigned regulatory training for work area as described by PSM’s EHS Training Matrix
- Could require some elective travel time.

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
