Job Description Base pay rate is $17.00 per hour plus $.50 shift differential 2nd Shift: 12:00PM - 8:00PM, (or until all Trucks are loaded. Some Weekends will be Required) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Loads product on the trailer using a packing list to verify that all parts are accounted for - Places parts on the trailer in a safe hauling manner in accordance with manufacturing procedures to ensure the product does not get damaged during shipment - Knows and understands all safety rules and precautions necessary for working in and about a manufacturing environment - Package, crate, or load items to ensure safe arrival and capacity loading - Packages parts using all types of crating and packaging materials, metal bands, covering, or other methods to secure and protect parts in shipment and for weighing trucks of items as required - Responsible for each lift and decides when to check actual vs. maximum allowable trailer load - Constantly check each load being made to assure that the job is complete - Expedite completion of work
