Fork Truck Operator – Harrison Steel Castings Co. Harrison Steel Castings Co. has an opening for a Fork Truck Operator Responsibilities include providing fork truck service to the Store Room. Essential Duties And Responsibilities - Operate fork truck in a safe and efficient manner. - Handle and store supplies in such a manner as to prevent damage. - Deliver supplies to departments. - Unload incoming materials from and load empty containers into trucks. - Maintain housekeeping of the outer storage buildings and areas outside of the main building. - Know the required procedures of receiving, handling, and storage of purchased materials. - Perform inventory of supplies including within inventory tracking systems. - Wear required safety equipment. - Follows job work instructions and training matrix, where applicable. Qualifications - Basic math & reading skills - Makes timely decisions - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness - Works safely and observes all safety procedures - Valid state issued driver's license required Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
