Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Williamsburg, Virginia for a Water Treatment Operator / Technician. Responsibilities include performing water and wastewater treatment operations, conducting water testing, and maintaining equipment to ensure optimal system performance. The role will also involve keeping accurate records, monitoring treatment processes, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Additional duties include troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly. Qualifications- Stable work history with record of reliable daily work performance - Three positive character references - Understanding of safety and environmental compliance standards - Technical skills relevant to the operation and maintenance of treatment equipment - Ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, and hand-writing - Experience in a similar role is an advantage - High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in water treatment is beneficial
